About Us

Hicken Legacy are a family band collective project from Leeds, Great Britain.

Over the years, the Hicken family have had numerous country bands such as "Shiloh Country" in the 1970s, "The Riker Brothers" in the 80s, Blueridge in the 90s and early 00s, then a spin off with 3 of the original members and their children called "The Rykers" & "Tau Ceti" from 2015-2021.

The latter 2 band names of "The Rykers" and "Tau Ceti" were combined into a new band name of Hicken Legacy, in 2021, with the full story over at the Hicken Legacy Era page. This new name is a project to bring music old and new under one banner, to preserve the music of the Hicken family.
